BETSY MCNALLY LAOUAR
Betsy McNally-Laouar is a sports nutritionist and personal trainer who works primarily with gymnasts. She has an education degree from Michigan State University and is a former high school teacher and professional fitness competitor. She works with the elite athletes at Cincinnati Gymnastics under Mary Lee Tracy and has been a trainer and nutritionist since 2001. She has coached multiple athletes on the American national team to college scholarship and physical ability champions. She creates online training and meal planning for gymnasts all over the country.
ALISON ARNOLD, PhD
Doc Ali is the pioneer of peak performance and mental toughness training in the sport of gymnastics. For the past 25 years, Doc Ali has worked with Olympic medalists, NCAA champions, and thousands of athletes chasing their dream. After receiving her PhD in Clinical Psychology, she spent 12 weeks studying the mind with the masters in Nepal, four weeks in a Thai forest monastery, three weeks in the Amazon jungle in Peru, two weeks in silence integrating it all, and still made it back to teach it. A former gymnast herself, she is relentless about helping people reach their potential. She has been a mental toughness coach for USA Gymnastics since 1997. Doc Ali is a consistently invited contributor to regional and national USA Gymnastics congresses, and industry publications and websites around the world.
MARY LEE TRACY President & Head Coach Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy – USA Olympic Coach
Mary Lee Tracy has coached numerous gymnasts to the U.S. National Team, including two members of the 1996 gold-medal Olympic team, Amanda Borden and Jaycie Phelps. She was inducted in the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame as well as the Region 5 Hall of Fame. Mary Lee loves to educate herself and then share her knowledge and wisdom with coaches and athletes. She speaks at many of the Regional Congresses and directs the #300-#400 Coaches Education Courses for USAG. She continues to run her Gymnastics Business of 40 years while coaching elite gymnastics. Her newest passion.... 2 Grand babies that add lots of joy and balance to her life.
